Until recently I would have called myself a photojournalist* – I had worked for five years as a staff photographer and photo editor and had done it all (well, most of it): sports, portraits, breaking news etc. That is, until I accidentaly stumbled into wedding photography when I shot a friend’s wedding and loved it.
I found out that all the things I learned as a journalist were important for wedding photography: being able to anticipate crucial moments, getting that once-in-a-lifetime shot that you just can’t stage later, making people comfortable with the camera and generally capturing the essence of the Big Day.
Shooting your wedding, I will put all my experience to use to provide you with memories that will last a lifetime.
